As far as stats go, Alchemists need to train the following:
Intelligence to at least 18
Constitution to at least 18
Strength to as close to 18 as possible.
Dexterity to as close to 18 as possible.
Ideally you want these four stats at 25 with potions.
Alchemists may train the following stats before being TAXED: Str: 3, Con: 3, Dex: 2, Int: 7
Races Allowed: Any
Deities Allowed: Any

Guild is not for the feint of heart. A complete max with both temple skills is approximately 1.2 BILLION experience.Vitality:

Potions & Components
Created potions are learned northwest of "Worden" in the main guild and may be "study" (studied) for 200,000 xp each, but require a minimum of 30 potion skill points for each one learned.

Alchemist Annexes are in several major cities, Mithris, Kai-Thann etc
